The host family is extremely kind and generous, they helped us with everything. The house and the rooms are very cosy, and you have a great view from the restaurant to the lake! You must also try the dinner, which is freshly made by the family every day, it is very tasty! This hotel is the perfect place for you if you'd like to enjoy a few days in a calm and quiet environment, surrounded by the nature!

The place is beautiful and serene.The pavilion is a great space to spend time in nature. The hosts Wouter and Karoline were very welcoming and amiable. We loved the breakfast they specially made for us to accommodate our dietary needs. Overall it was an amazing experience.

We stayed in total 3 nights at the hotel, and we enjoyed it very much. The room was clasic for this kind of Accomodation, and even if the furniture was a little bit oldish, the bed was very confortable. Bathroom was big enogh and had everything what you needed. Breakfast was also ok. We enjoyed the restaurant in the evening very much, dinner in the garden was delightful. The restaurant was also a big positive, the food was great and not that expensive. After a long day exploring the area, to have the posibility to eat a good dinner at the location, is a big plus. So yeah, totaly recomand

Joseph, the owner is very nice and helpful, with a good sense of humour, we chatted a lot even though we don't speak German :D. The garden is beautiful and very well kept, the views are great. The neighborhood is very quiet, we could sleep well. I liked the general relaxed atmosphere of the place, its location among the hills and especially the garden.

The room was exactly as displayed and promised. The location is great because you have many possibilities to take daily tours to different places. Either directly from the hotel or with a short trip to the area. Great for hiking and swimming in the many different lakes around the area. The cozy private beach access is a few meters to walk ( 5 minutes) and well maintained. Waldesruh hotel is far enough away from the touristic place in Velden. It has a great garden where you can just relax and read a book. The room has a balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. It is family friendly and offers a playground for the little ones. It is a quiet place too. The host is very helpful, super friendly and familiar with the area and makes you feel welcome. The breakfast is recommended. Each morning a little surprise with cake or homemade jam. We were looking for a quiet place with the opportunities to explore the area. This place was just the right place for us. I enjoyed sleeping with an open window. All windows and door had Moskito screens.
