Hubert and Heidi were friendly and went above and beyond our expectations. When I arrived I explained I had lost my wallet on the bus journey there. They were very understanding and phoned a friend from the village, who worked for the bus company. The wallet was later found and returned to the Salzburg office, the friend collected it for me and dropped it off at B&B Simmer at midnight (the end of her shift). Hubert stayed up specially and returned the wallet to me at breakfast (all intact). Such acts of kindness made our holiday extra memorable. Thank you all so much.

The host couple was so nice. They even picked us up from the nearest railway point which was so kind. The owner was really helpful in telling about good spots nearby and arranged a good breakfast. Nice room and the view from the apartment was so beautiful. Nearest station is Obertraun.

Firstly due to some plan change, we went directly there and asked Larry for early check-in, he arranged within 20 minutes. He is very helpful and kind person. Location was very good. Breakfast was amazing, everything was homemade food. room with Mountain View is excellent to enjoy the nature. Everything is perfect and highly recommended.

The owner was very helpful, answered all our questions. From bus, train station turn right at the yellow church. Obertraun is very small but the house numbers are confusing. Great stay!

This is a great family-run place to enjoy Obertraun, Hallstatt and other parts of Salzkammergut! The balcony with the mountain view was great, especially at night when you can see the stars in the sky. The hotel is close to the railway station and it takes around 10 min. by foot to reach it. The check in instructions were clear and the getting the room keys was very easy. Mario is a very welcoming host. He provided explanations about the region and the hiking options in the area. He was available to answer my questions and helped with some other things I needed. I would like to stay here again the next time I visit Obertraun!

A secluded, quiet alternative to staying in Hallstatt. Spectacular views, extremely polite and patient staff, clean rooms, and within walking distance of the Obertraun resort area, where you can catch a boat, bus, or taxi to Hallstatt.

The room is spacious, it's like a one bedroom apartment. The view from balcony was amazing, the restaurant at the resort was good, the location of the resort where the reception is, is an amazing location which is at the back of the lake surrounded by mountains on all sides 😊

The place is simply amazing. We had a private balcony with a beautiful view to the lake. The owners do their best to help you with what you need. For a small fee they provide laundry service, wich for us was a gret plus (paid 5 euros for a basket of clothes). Breakfast is simple but good.
