West Course at Myrtle Beach National is 20 km from the hotel and Barefoot Landing is 26 km away. When I booked our stay and saw this was a brand new hotel I was both excited and nervous. Only nervous because I wasn't sure if we'd be walking into a construction zone but we that wasn't the case at all. All staff was nice and helpful. We met Megan who we nicknamed "Meg's" (because that's just how we are) the first day we arrived. She was the bartender at the super nice outdoor (but covered) bar. She was very friendly and being we haven't been to Myrtle Beach in years, she helped us out with all our typical "vacationing" questions we had. She not only worked the bar but walked the pool deck as well to take drink/food orders. Other employees did too but Meg's had quickly become our BFF. Everything about this hotel and property is gorgeous! The Myrtle Beach Airport is right across the street but don't let that shy you away. Planes are not constantly flying by. Plus you cannot hear anything in your room when the doors closed. 10 or of 10! We'll definitely be back!

Everything!! This was our first family vacation with our 17 Month old son and everything was fantastic from when we arrived to when we left. The front desk agents were super pleasant even considering we were super early; honestly every staff member I saw would smile and wave and acknowledge my son which is a huge thing to me. Thank you to everyone at Holiday Inn At the Pavilion. Cannot wait to come back again.
The place was meticulously clean. You could get in contact with the owner or property manager at any time. Beach was right across the street along with the Holiday Inn for food and drinks. View of the ocean was ok, side view. The condo was stocked with anything you would need.
The location was a hit for me. We walked to restaurants, activities, beach and bars. You could park one vehicle at no extra charge. Parking lot was right across the street. Hotel had an on-property Tiki Bar. We could sit back and relax and watch the action on the boardwalk and ocean. Holiday Inn at the Pavilion has the best location for travelers. We had an ocean view. It was fabulous. Also, the hotel has four swimming pools which we enjoyed.

Got in later, completely unpacked and sanitized the room when we realized the toilet did not flush. Engineer gone for the day, we had to repack and move. No discount offered. I think this was the 2nd experience that did not go well at Holiday Inn express.
