Maekok River Resort is a 1.5-hour drive from Chiang Rai Airport and a 3-hour drive from Chiang Mai Town. exceptional hotel offering everything you’d expect from a luxury hotel at a fraction of the price. staff were friendly and helpful, food and drinks menu available all day. bikes were free of charge, beautiful grounds and lovely pool. the couple who own the resort are warm and friendly and couldn’t do more to make your stay memorable. the Burmese curry on the menu remains in first place! lots of attention to detail in the rooms, everything you could wish for is provided. definitely take a trip to Wat Tha Ton, the views from the top are incredible! then maybe order a cocktail or two to your room 🍸

Was pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a hotel, down a little soi, on the outskirts of Lampang. Beautiful view of green fields literally at our doorstop. Were met by the management on arrival. Check in was very pleasant and easy. The room is large, very clean, modern, with an exceptionally comfortable bed.
