Nice old house with quirky furniture. Lovely change from formula hotels. Staff are outstanding. Excellent breakfast. There is even a small swimming pool. All at a very reasonable price.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Mangreen and hope to do so again. There are only 8 bedrooms in a house which feels like it should be National Trust. Lovely breakfast cooked to order, comfortable beds, peaceful and quiet, even though it is not far from the A47 south of Norwich. There is also the bonus of a swimming pool which is available to guests if there is a half hour time slot free. The Duty Manager in particular is very knowledgeable and all staff are friendly and helpful.
Decoration, gardens, parking, huge and impressive hotel, great jacuzzi, swimming pool, shop for all sorts of sport gear, many restaurants, impressive building...
We really enjoyed that the hotel could accommodate us last minute, including a family room with travel cot. The swimming pool was excellent and the baby/children's pool provided a huge amount of entertainment. We asked for a jug of milk for our room and the friendly staff were very accommodating. The grounds are maintained very well. We enjoyed the stay and would return - thanks.
