This was my first time staying in Bayonne. Chez Mano I found a wonderful location right near a lively and fun street, close to the train station, and close to entertainment. The room was BEAUTIFUL. I especially appreciated the books, decor, tea tray and access to electric teapot and fridge. I hope to come back. Very good value for the price. I appreciated all of the gestures Mano made to make me feel comfortable and welcome.
The hotel is set back on a hill behind electric gates. Once inside the gates there is ample parking for cars. A long white gravel path leads you past the bijou swimming pool and terraced garden to an elegant large house. inside its elegantly decorated in a deco style. Light and airy it greets with you a warm smile which didn’t stop until we left. The staff and the owner was so lovely and helpful.
The views were good, and the location was within walking distance to the centre. Iker was very friendly and approachable. This was clearly someone's home, so needed to be accepted as such, but the owner left a message offering us use of his internet and entertainment media.
