The pool area is nice and has plenty of places to lounge. The farm animals are a plus!

We also used it as a base to go to Nazaré and Sintra. The owner is so kind. She left us a loaf of homemade bread a few times. We all really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend this house.

It is the 5 star equivalent of self catering accomodation from the artwork on the walls to the linen, towels and bathroom accessories. We just adored the beautiful bedroom which was very luxurious and the bed is the most comfortable we've slept in so far. We parked easily right outside although access to the street is tricky - google will guide you but there is a wicked right hand turn which requires you to do a 3 point turn in the middle of a narrow junction to get into the street - but don't worry -even the locals have to do the same. The hosts Pedro and Carla were responsive, courteous and warm. They weren't around to give us the keys so Pedro's mum and dad filled in and they were delightful despite our language difficulties. It really makes a lovely change to actually communicate and meet the people behind a property rather than have anonymous door codes and keylocks!
