The apartment was immaculate, pristine clean, very comfortable and modern. The shower was super hot and powerful. Everything felt brand new. There was a lovely pool, garden, bbq facilities and washing machine. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed seeing Braga and the local sites. We were on motorcycles and the ride to and from Carvalho was delightful.

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and luggage storage for guests. This was such a lovely place, exceptional quality in every respect—from beautiful renovation within traditional stone walls, to the aesthetic design and details of tile and wood, to the cozy warmth of the soft and comfortable bedding. The hosts were very kind people—who brought us delicious breakfast in a picnic basket each morning! We loved staying so close to Barcelos, but in this little slice of rural paradise. Highly recommended!

I loved everything about this stay, so much so that I extended my stay and then came back for two more days after exploring another area for a day. Marília is a wonderful host, and she delivers a beautiful breakfast basket every morning, filled with coffee, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and home baked goodies. The space was perfect for me, with a comfortable, firm bed, fabulous shower, super fast WiFi, a day bed that doubles as a couch, and a big table for writing/working. I didn't use the kitchen much, because there were excellent vegetarian options in Caminha (Cantina do Bem and Jeni's Diner). I will definitely be back! Thank you Marília! There a few things you can't tell from the photos: - The ceiling on the ground floor is relatively low. Tall people will have to watch the clearance. - Access to the spacious upstairs bedroom is by ladder rather than by stairs. I found it easy to navigate, but it could be difficult if you have mobility challenges. - The apartment is accessed by two sets of uneven stone steps. Again, it could be challenging if you're not fully mobile.

The hosts were very nice, the location is perfect, and the facilities are excellent. Everything was new and well-maintained. A real gem. Highly reccomended.
