The holiday home offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. It was a perfect fit for our family of six. Having some basic essentials was a bonus (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, kitchen cleaning supplies, coffee/tea sachets & laundry detergent). Lighting & ambience was super welcoming and relaxing.

Really clean, very welcoming and warm. Everything you need provided for you ( a hairdryer would we cool) Host are super friendly and were so easy to communicate with.

Birdsong Cottage is a recently renovated holiday home in Paraparaumu, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. Birdsong Cottage blew me out of the water -- it's gorgeous, calming, immaculate and the hosts, Susan and Gavin, go above and beyond in ways that make you feel more like whānau than guests. The cottage is very pretty, clean and extremely comfortable with much evidence of attention to detail. I asked if I could check in earlier since I was checking out of a previous lodging at 10am and Susan was truly accomodating although it was a big ask. I took advantage of the property's stunning aesthetic with photos galore and spent most of the time on the porch with wine or coffee. I am a big Tūī fan, so it was an absolute dream and the hosts are mindful to make sure that birding is optimal on the property. At their kind insistence, Susan offered me fresh eggs and Gavin drove me to the Paraparaumu airport. Stunning experience, I cannot recommend it enough.

A flat-screen TV is offered. Additional in-room amenities include chocolates or cookies. Charlotte was a wonderful host. Communication was clear. We had a few adjustments to our booking, and Charlotte accommodated our requests. The house was warmed up for us on arrival. It was immaculately clean and tidy, and overall, very welcoming. Our overnight stay was comfortable for our group of 8. We would highly recommend this beautiful home and host. Thank you, Charlotte.

Everything the place was immaculately clean, they supplied all essentials, nice and quiet neighborhood, amazing shower in ensuite, comfy fresh clean beds, loved this place. Also the owner is easy to contact and replies very promptly.

It was bright and, although not big, it felt spacious because of an excellent use of space. The owner sent us instructions to get to the cabin and to get inside that were excellent. We also liked it that felt quiet and isolated even though we were only about 100m from a busy road.
