The staff are there if you need them, but otherwise you can fully enjoy your privacy. Jose was all smiles, such a friendly guy. The villa itself was super clean, spacious and convenient, and the daily cleaning service was very thorough. I was prepared for insects in the room, power/water problems etc but there were no such issues at all. People complaining in the reviews about dampness/smell or gravel garden paths should really get a grip. Oh, and don't miss the Chan Paal tortilleria just across the road. They have exquisite food and super cool staff.

The accommodation provides a shuttle service, while a bicycle rental service is also available. It was an awesome location that was private. The breakfast was a nice little continental one. The hostess and host we very accommodating and let us use kayaks to go on the lagoon and use a shower to clean up afterwards as it was after check out! Would stay again!

Every room has it's own bathroom. Rooms are spacious and clean. I must commend the owner, who was exceptionally helpful despite our interactions being limited to phone conversations. He provided all the assistance we needed and even helped resolve an unpleasant situation with a mis-scheduled reservation (which was my mistake). The apartment itself is extremely spacious and definitely worth the price. The swimming pool is clean and perfect for kids. If you stay in Valladolid, I would definitely recommend this house!
