The town is hideous, but we had to travel through and boy were we delighted with this accom.

The villa was spacious and clean, with working air conditioning and wifi. The surrounding location around our villa was gorgeous, beautiful plants and landscaping. The pool was also beautiful and refreshing. We loved staying in the jungle outside of downtown Tulum as it was quiet and private. You definitely will want to rent a car or a motorbike if you are staying here, as it is not walkable to downtown Tulum. There is plenty of parking on site. We will be coming back some day!

We were lucky to get a room with a view of the lagoon. The dock is perfect for lounging and for jumping into the crystal clear water. You can’t go wrong with Villa Marilu. We highly recommend it snd will come back someday!

Every practice is sustainable, food is really delicious and natural, the accomodations are peaceful and well cleaned, and I swear that it was a long time ago that I couldn’t sleep so well! Wish we could spend more days in there. It’s just a little spot out from the crazy Tulum.
