The only negative is that the place is so nice that you may not want to go out sightseeing, but rather stay in theively apartment.

Oh, this place is both charming with its atmosphere of old-time Japan, as well as greatly located if you are for visiting nearby located old post towns of Tsumago or Magome. Spacious rooms with comfy futons, endless spaces with bedrooms, living room, bathrooms and - which was a fantastic discovery - a Japanese style all wooden bathroom with a bathtub. This was such a relaxing experience after we travelled from the north. 7-eleven is at walking distance, the host is extremely helpful, free parking space just 50m from this beautiful wooden, old, atmospheric, all Japanese style house. We loved everything about it - it had even the hearth in the middle of the living room, like the ones you'd see in the samurai movies. We felt as if we travelled back in time for 200 years! We simply loved it!

Set in Matsumoto, 5 km south from Matsumoto Station,泊まれる秘密基地 L-Base features free private parking. Kishinoyu Onsen and Utsukushigahara Onsen are a 20-minute drive from the property.

Japanese style futons made it easy to sleep with a toddler. Clean and nice rooms. The feel of the property is wonderful - the lights at night and the flowers and trees around made it a very nice place to stay. The staff and owners are also very friendly and always willing to help. Recommendations in the guest book are also good - we went to a few recommended places and we weren’t disappointed.

Neighbouring Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field, Villa Komakusa offers a breath-taking view of the Northern Alps and a cosy cottage with wooden interiors and a ktichen. JR Hakuba Train Station is a 10-minute drive from the property. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Great central location directly in front of ski lift, very sweet owner and all the appliances you would need for a longer stay.
