Basically, everything about this property, it's in a good location centrally to some of Kyoto's most famous landmarks. Staff were beyond pleasant and easy to deal with. The property is amazing (unfortunately, my wife wants me to recreate something similar in Australia 🤣). I couldn't recommend it highly enough, would 10/10 rebook this property.

Very quiet spot, traditional older style house but nice fit out with ofuro on rooftop and lots of nice touches with lovely tiles and crockery. Very cosy Japanese style. Mother-in-law aged 75 was happy for the upstairs toilet overnight so she didn’t have to negotiate the stairs as very steep and tricky. Comfy beds, very warm in middle of winter. Two toilets, 1 shower, two baths. Helpful host when we were late and ordered us taxis, gave good dinner recommendations etc. We found the place no problem bc we used a taxi, maybe hard to find from train station but recommend just phone host if you have trouble finding it. 700m to Nishiki market and Daimaru

Comfortable and spacious room. Small fridge and kettle included. Great shower with good size bathroom. Hotel was very clean with air con everywhere. There is a private public bath for women, very clean and peaceful, no one else there when I went.
Loved this Hotel. It has a very pleasant atmosphere. I felt very comfortable as a solo traveling woman there. It has a very well designed common room, where you can eat, cook. Nearby are big shelves with books you can read and in the evening they show some short movies for everyone to watch. The room was very clean and has everything I needed. The beds are spacious and it is great to have a proper shower.
We stayed in a traditional tatami room. It was spacious, very clean and I was pleasantly surprised how my back felt great after sleeping on the mattress on the floor. The pillows were also traditional and I regret not buying one and bringing it back home with me. Sooo comfortable! Location is the best! In a walking distance to the market, Gion and there are a lot of great restaurants near by. Metro is a short 10 min. walk.

The staff were incredible - so helpful and welcoming. Everything was very clean and the facilities were great. Having a washing machine in the room was fantastic and loved the size of the room. The location was brilliant. We had an excellent stay here and definitely would return.

Room is spacious, Bathroom very clean. Location is close to Kyoto Station, easy to ride bus or local train. They have shuttle bus to kyoto station.

Kyo Kozo is a lovely Japanese style holiday house. Lovely and spacious with 2 beds in both rooms, 1 room is Japanese inspired with futon beds with the other standard beds. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. Kozo left us plenty of snacks and food to get us started. Very clean house and was cleaned during our 3 night stay.
