Tertenia is a good starting point to explore the eastern part of the island as there are two sea ports in relatively close proximity.

I walked everywhere and found the apartment very centrally located. The owner met me there and went over the apartment. she’s was very kind and provided some delicious local food and helped to make dinner reservations for me! She didn’t speak much English but we made it work with Google translate.
