We loved the location- uniquely placed to enjoy the beauty of the mountains but handy to supermarket, bus stop and a short dander into the gorgeous town of Newcastle. We honestly have never met friendlier people than those we encountered here and in County Down in general. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. We had the best stay at Carrick Cottage. It was a great spot to relax after a days hiking. The hot tub was great and the cottage was lovely and cosy. One of my favourite stays in Ireland, we'll definitely be back!

A recently renovated holiday home situated in Kilkeel, The Old Coastguard Cottage at Leestone features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 34 km from The Cathedral of Saint Patrick and Saint Colman. The pillows were the comfiest we have ever slept on!
