Bwthyn y porthmyn has a terrace and is located in Llandovery, within just 400 metres of Llandovery Castle and 700 metres of Llandovery Golf Club. We opened the doors to wonderful old world charm, it was roomy, with a modern kitchen and bathroom, upstairs we found a king size bed which was luscious. In the kitchen we found these wonderful surprises, a beautiful cob loaf, some Welsh cookies, jams and butters which were absolutely delicious and a number of small packets of cereals and in the fridge a bottle of milk and a large carton of orange juice . A warm heater in the lounge which looked like an open fire added to the lovely ambiance. In the the backyard we discovered another wonderful surprise, including a well equipped laundry room. So fellow travelers if you wanting to stay in Llandovery I REALLY SUGGEST YOU STAY HERE, we stayed for 3 days and wished we had booked a week, finally the price was very reasonable. thank you so much to our lovely hosts, from we travelers from Australia.

A lovely quiet and special place. Suitable for couples and those looking for a beautiful and quiet view. Very well equipped. It is highly recommended.

Located in Derwenlas and only 27 km from Aberystwyth Golf Club, Ty Gles provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Easy to get to and find (the blue walls do help - You see it in approach :). Everything brand new and pristine. As if the Owner refurbished it for themselves. Nice design. Warm and cosy. Everything we weary travellers needed! And, a bonus there: a shelf filled with maps, guide Books and ideas what to do and where to go! Bed comfy, bedlinen and towels as in best Hotels. Shower felt luxurious, plenty of hot water. Easy to heat up the lounge area with a little electric fire, important on wet days! Top tip: BlackLion neighbouring pub has delicious food and great atmosphere, good for dinner. Go and find out, worth it.

Situated in Brecon and only 42 km from Elan Valley, Alltybrain Farm Cottages and Farmhouse B&B features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Rose and Patrick are excellent hosts and the rooms were perfect just for my family. Delicious full English breakfasts.

Pen-Rhos luxury glamping "Cuckoo's Nest", a property with a terrace, is set in Llandrindod Wells, 34 km from Clun Castle, 36 km from Dolforwyn Castle, as well as 38 km from Wigmore Castle. We stayed at Pen-Rhos in “Cuckoo’s Nest for four nights in mid January. The scenery surrounding the ‘cabin’ was breathtaking and there was enough space between each cabin for privacy. The space was small, but perfect for two and had every appliance we needed for meals and hot drinks. The bathroom was clean and the shower heated quicker than ours at home. Llandrindod Wells had a few pubs and grocery stores that were close and convenient. Surrounding cities like Newtown, Rhayader, and Builth Wells were great for pub dinners.

Located in Barmouth, 300 metres from Barmouth Beach and 31 km from Portmeirion, Penbryn Holidays No 2 provides accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. I absolutely fell in love with the place as soon as I saw it. It's a beautiful building with old charm on the outside and is clean and modern inside. There is a lovely lounge area with a great TV, reclining chair (which I took full advantage of) and the use of an Alexa device which was a nice touch. The kitchen is fully equipped and they even provided a small milk which was very kind. The bedroom was comfy and I adored the bath in the bathroom. The cherry on top was an outdoor area especially for me. It was amazing and I really enjoyed having somewhere external to enjoy the wonderful view with a cup of tea 😊😊 I loved my visit, and it is definitely more than value for money.
