We were in Rose cottage during the storm and had quite an eventful time there. Due to the storm there was a powercut that lasted more than 30 hours! But our landlady Lynda did all she could to make our stay agreeable. She brought us a gas stove so that we could make some tea, torches, candles, etc. She dried our clothes and shoes as she had a wood stove in her own house. We feel that if a landlady shows so much concern for her guests, she is worth a 10 and more!

Buffet breakfast was varied with hot and cold food. A La carte breakfast is also available. Room although a standard room was spacious and very clean . Tea, coffee and a kettle in the room. There is a walk in shower and separate bath which is good for the end of the day relaxation. Lots of parking on site. Good views over the golf course.
I loved my stay. The room is very clean and has everything you may need, double bonus for a fan and smart tv. Communal area was also very clean. Joanna is a lovely person and seemed to be happy to help with anything. I’ll definitely come back.
I liked the fact that there was a staff presence most of the time. My room at the very top involved climbing quite a few stairs, but it was of a fair size, with hot water, easy to use shower, and a small fridge. It was very clean and I found the bed comfortable. Breakfast was an optional extra and it was fine. My room had a rooftops view and was quiet, even though the hotel was on the sea front. It was a short walk from the railway station and from Harold Place, where the buses stop. The old town was a bit further. I'd stay again.
The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable..and there was a bath as requested. the staff were very good and parking was fairly easy and at a good price and fully explained by the staff. The breakfast was good and there was a lot of space available to sit down and relax. the location was excellent. First time in Eastbourne and would happily come again and stay at the same place.
Bedroom space was exceptional in both bedrooms. All very clean. Location is excellent, free parking for one car was great. Kitchen well resourced, ideal holiday home.
It's a lovely setting - one of a number of holiday homes in the grounds of a small manor house. There are some beautiful gardens and landscaping around it. It's a reasonably easy drive into Eastbourne from there, and it is reasonably well positioned for a number of sights in the area (miniature railway, Drusilla's, etc). There are several pubs for food and shops within a few minutes drive - as well as a garden centre with retail outlets.
Very clean and comfortable holiday home in a quiet residential area
Fantastic facilities, great communication from the owner and in a brilliant location. Very well equipped kitchen with, a rare thing in holiday homes, sharp kitchen knives. Plus, to further recommend it, a gated place to park your car. We will be staying in this exceptional property again.
