We loved the location- uniquely placed to enjoy the beauty of the mountains but handy to supermarket, bus stop and a short dander into the gorgeous town of Newcastle. We loved ending the day with the hot tub then getting cosy in the Pjs in our beautiful cabin. Super friendly and super organised hosts . Thank you Catherine. We would love to return soon

The property was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. It is in a good central location for east Ireland. From this location, we drove to Giants Causeway, Carrick a Rede rope bridge, Belfast, Blackrock County Louth, Dublin, Bray, and Avoca. All drives were 1-2 hours, but so nice to return to one place at the end of the day. The cottage has a wonderful view of Slieve Gullion. We drove around all sides of the mountain and to the top. The drive to the top is absolutely breathtaking!!! The host was wonderful. He checked almost everyday to see if we needed anything and gave us tips on places to see each day. Be sure to try Murphy Bar as it is much more impressive on the inside and the food is great. The local Mace grocery had most things we needed. It is a short drive into Newry for large supermarkets and a shopping mall. The cottage is equipped for cooking so we ate breakfast and dinner there and packed a lunch. I can’t say enough good things about this cottage!!! We stayed there 6 days.

Room had everything we needed - fridge, tea making facilities, good shower. It was very clean. Good position.
Location was great and property was very clean and comfortable. Although I didn’t actually see anyone, communication was good and queries were promptly responded to. We were a group of 8 ladies so having an ensuite bathroom for each of the 3 bedrooms was really helpful.
Lovely mountains views from kitchen/lounge. Close proximity to many places of interest, yet very peaceful. Tastefully furnished, comfortable and very clean. Very friendly and helpful host.
Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Spacious rooms with fabulous views over the garden to the mourne mountains. Quality bedding and towels. Fabulous breakfasts with delicious homemade breads, jams and granola, and lovely hosts.
Great location, very clean and had everything we needed. Lovely balcony to sit out and watch the world.
Very clean, modern and comfortable. Tv was massive.
Beautiful peaceful location with a nice outdoor seating area that wasn't overlooked. Cottage was very clean with plenty of spare towels and linen. The taxi service was great even though it was a Saturday night.
