We opened the doors to wonderful old world charm, it was roomy, with a modern kitchen and bathroom, upstairs we found a king size bed which was luscious. In the kitchen we found these wonderful surprises, a beautiful cob loaf, some Welsh cookies, jams and butters which were absolutely delicious and a number of small packets of cereals and in the fridge a bottle of milk and a large carton of orange juice . A warm heater in the lounge which looked like an open fire added to the lovely ambiance. In the the backyard we discovered another wonderful surprise, including a well equipped laundry room. So fellow travelers if you wanting to stay in Llandovery I REALLY SUGGEST YOU STAY HERE, we stayed for 3 days and wished we had booked a week, finally the price was very reasonable. thank you so much to our lovely hosts, from we travelers from Australia.

Swansea Marina is 39 km from the holiday home, while Dinefwr Castle is 6.4 km from the property. The nearest airport is Cardiff Airport, 91 km from Goilan Goch. It was quirky and interesting. The garden was large and backed by beautiful countryside.

Guests at Alltybrain Farm Cottages and Farmhouse B&B can enjoy hiking nearby, or make the most of the garden. Such a beautiful place on earth! This was the absolute highlight on my trip through South Wales and England! The farm has a great location and is a perfect starting point for discovering the Brecon Beacons National Park. Even the coast is reachable as part of a day-trip. The landscape around the farm is very rural with lots of different animals and a lovely garden. The atmosphere at Alltybrain Farm is very familiar and the hosts, Rose and Patrick are just amazing! I directly felt welcome in their home! They even produce their own bee honey - don't miss to take with you a glass! The homemade breakfast was fantastic, too. If you are interested in getting to know the Welsh countryside and kindhearted people, I warmly recommend this place! 🧡

This 4-star holiday home offers private entrance. The cottage was in a beautiful location with lovely views. Outstanding host making you feel welcomed and willing to give advice on places to see and things to do and eat. The breakfast hamper was amazing with lovely ingredients, definitely a must. Overall an amazing and relaxing experience and met lovely people, we will definitely be returning.

Vale Farm Cottages are set on a farm 6.4 km from the Brecon Beacons National Park. The pet-friendly cottages feature either a sun room or a balcony offering mountain views.

Each cottage has a well equipped kitchen, a barbecue and a patio. There is also a dining area and a sitting room with a flat-screen TV. A dog walking service is available on request for an additional fee. The cottage was amazing and the facilities were a great addition. The view was outstanding, watching the sun rise every morning from the cottage window was beautiful. Having access to the spa and pool after a day of exploring helped us to relax and unwind. The children loved having their own upstairs space along with all the outside space for playing and running around.

Featuring a South facing garden, Wales' Highest Village - The Chartist Cottage - Trefil is a mid-terrace, 18th Century cottage situated in Trefil, the highest village in Wales, near Tredegar in the Gwent Region. The holiday home is in a rural location, offering two nearby restaurants and within easy access by car to the historic town of Tredegar and supermarkets. The property features free Wi-Fi. Cottage is amazing, I would love to come back as soon as possible. Quiet, clean, beautiful interiors, felt super cozy. Was much bigger than I expected, bed was comfy, and internet worked perfectly. All was great.

Hay Retreats is located in a quiet cul-de-sac near to the town Centre. There are two neighboring pet friendly townhouses, numbers 25 and 26. These contemporary townhouses overlook the River Wye and have car ports out front, that can accommodate up to two cars . A spacious and clean apartment with plenty of room for our family of four. We really enjoyed the location just around the corner from the main clock tower, and luckily in town during the Thursday farmers market, which was lovely. The apartment was well furnished with comfy couch and two arm chairs on main floor (with plenty of board games to keep us occupied), full size dining table on bottom floor with a large outdoor area overlooking the river and large kitchen. Bedrooms were comfy and our kids loved their twin bedded room. Overall, a fantastic stay!
