The owner was very nice and brought us anything we were missing. Very good for the price. Everything needed in the kitchen was already provided and the beds were very comfortable. There was a public car park outside the house which we were given inclusive access to by way of a parking pass. The owner was very helpful, responsive and kind. We had a perfect nights sleep in comfortable beds, with beautiful linens. The house was very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely recommend and stay again!!

Château de la Malmaison is in a quiet, rural location with easy access to Epernay, Reims and the Marne Canal bikepath. The hosts were extremely helpful with a long text of information, in English, prior to arrival. We used this throughout our stay. The apartment is well equipped, including a washing machine & full kitchen facilities. The pool is a bonus on hot days & the fridge is well stocked with Xavier’s (& ours) favourite champagne. Just pay for what you drink (and enjoy it in the provided champagne glasses!).

The property has an outdoor dining area. Very warm welcome; nice clean house with two separate bed rooms (the one under the roof has air conditioning which was crucial when we stayed (36°). Good bathroom. My children (5 and 9) loved all the facilities in the huge garden (zip line, play houses, monkey bars and even goats; I preferred the boulodrome) They even didn't want to go back to the lac d'Orient the next day. The owners are living in the house next door and are very friendly. Nice feature: the old well in the living room. I can only recommend La Maison de Louna
