The apartment was extremely clean, cozy and well equipped. The neighborhood was very calm and quiet. You'll surely feel the peacefulness and tranquility by the sound of nature around you. We absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone travelling in Rovianemi, we would love to stay here again.

Kids had alot of freedom and were able to roam around safely in the woods and in the snow at the front of the cabin. We used the sledges they had available and cross country skis. My husband and I did the sauna and ice dip which was brilliant fun. Kitchen facilities were pretty basic but the cabin was super warm and cosy - they have a little kota available that we cooked sausages on Had a husky ride with korvala. My husband and I ended up each mushing a dog sled each which was amazing. We had a kennel tour and was nice to see how loved and cared for the dogs were as this was a major decision in going to korvala.

The location by the lake was wonderful. House very comfortable. Perfect spot to admire nature and to see some auroras. Very peaceful.

We were 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids) and we all loved everything about this house!!! The living-room with the open kitchen, the “water area” with the sauna, the bedrooms with nice views, the garden…everything was perfect!! Also the location is very convenient as it close to Santa Park, Santa Claus Village and the airport. We highly recommend it for a perfect stay!!! Great cabin alongside the lake with access to a rowing boat if you wanted. It was warm and comfortable and even had a sauna inside that you could use. Quiet, peaceful location.

A TV, fireplace and private bathroom are also featured. We loved the clean comfy cabins which were cozy and well equipped. Janna and Mika are excellent hosts. We couldnt reccomend Polar Aurora Cabins any better! Frankly they are way better then the commercial accomodations out there and offer a ‘Home Away From Home’ experience. They make a perfect team and run the cabins like clockwork.

Free WiFi, bed linen and towels are included. The house was lovely and modern and equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Little touches like the Christmas tree and having dishwasher tablets and detergents to use etc made a self catering stay a lot easier with a family. The house is a little way from the town centre if you are walking (as it’s very cold) but We had a car and it took 5 minutes and we loved the fact it was secluded and quiet but we could easily reach where we needed to go by car.
