The kitchen is excellent, perfectly equipped and even with everything you need for cooking (oil, salt, pepper, sugar, dieter, tea, plus the basket with fruit from her own yard). Good quality mattress, hard! All spotless, white sheets, white towels. The white throughout the house gives a touch of cleanliness done perfectly. The internet is amazing! I have never seen such speed! 320Mbps! It even has hiking poles, beach umbrella, beach towels and sun lounger towels. The advices given by Nieves for places to visit, recommended restaurants, better than a tourist guide.

Casa Chamiquela is located just outside Galga in north-eastern La Palma. It is a group of traditional Canarian villas with a terrace with views of the mountains and the sea.

The Chamiquela villas feature a garden, tiled floors and wooden beams. They are also equipped with under-floor heating and a fireplace in the living room. We loved the location - the trails in the forest behind the house are spectacular. A local restaurant and bar are only 1km walk. The lounge was very cosy. The underfloor heating and fire made it hard to leave the rug on the floor. The bed was big and comfy. The kitchen was well equipped and a pleasure to cook in. The outdoor seating areas - they catch the sun and have magnificent views of the forest and sea. The welcome fruit - grown in the garden - was unexpected and incredibly appreciated. The homemade wine is dangerously delicious - perhaps some of the best wine we have tried. The fresh bread delivery every morning - if you leave €1.10 in a bag on the front door handle.
