The hoast was very welcoming, showed us around and told us to call with any questions and he does not live far away if you need help. Beautiful pool, slide and outdoor facilities for BBQ I also I loved the view it was like having a moving picture.
The beds and bedding were a very good size and very comfortable. The villa was more spacious than we expected.

The remodel INSIDE the rooms were very nice looking, as long as you did not take to close a look to notice that many corners were cut. The bed was comfy but I enjoy a very firm mattress and I know that is not for everyone, I'd classify the pillows the same. The room itself is very clean and when I opened the door, I was honestly taken a back a bit because the outside doors not match the inside.
Room was big and very clean. And nicely decorated. Super friendly staff. No breakfast but nice coffeehouse where you can get discount if you are staying in the hotel. Free cruiser bikes for the day. Cycling from hotel to Coronado is feasible via South (25km one way on flat bike lanes). The surroundings seem sketchy but only 3mn walk from E Street Blue line trolley stop. Felt safe all the way. Nice sunset and seaview.
