We loved our stay at the Oldhouse. The best thing about it is the view over the valley, but also the hosts are so kind and hospitable. They went above and beyond for us and made us feel at home. There is a big fire pit / bbq which we used a lot when we were there.

Netherlands
A B&B how it should be. Perfectly english speaking slovenian couple on top of a hill, hosting a well suited accomodation with a balanced breakfast consisting of "Domace" (homemade) Bio / organic produce. The lack of language barrier makes it easy to connect and have more then just a nice conversation with the Hosts. The view is stunning in daytime as well as at night, the wind and crickets are the music of nature you can listen to from the balcony or one of the places to sit or lie down in the big garden. The kitchen is well equiped with sharp knifes, a fridge, an oven, ceramic stove and a dishwasher to make life comfortable. The beds and pillows are the best we have experienced our whole trip accross some of the Balkan area. ( Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia) The hosts are working towards a complete self sustainable place, a course of action we support by booking and enjoying the B&B. If we could stay longer we would have. Our advice, stay longer than one day. And go for the breakfast, for sure! E & M. PS: be sure to watch the sunrise, you'll love it.

It’s a perfect little house on top of the hill where you can enjoy the peace and nature. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the mornings while taking in the view. Our dogs were even more excited as it is a perfect place for them to run around all day in the garden. The host is really polite and friendly, there for all the questions. All together it’s worth the money and we highly recommend staying here!! :D

The location is great, isolated, quiet, in a middle of a vineyard. Lots of curiosities in the house itself, from various times in history. WiFi and cellular reception were great. The place even has a hot tub! There are also various attractions in a driving distance around.

My stay in this holiday house was amazing. The area is simply beautiful, full of picturesque views that stole my heart. The house itself is perfectly equipped, and you can see that someone put a lot of attention and heart into ensuring guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. All the facilities were in place, making me feel right at home. This place truly allowed me to fall in love with the area even more. I highly recommend this holiday home to anyone looking for a relaxing, silent and beautiful vacation spot.

Villa is magnificent! I went to a lot of 5 stars hotels in the past, but this villa is truly a five-star house just for you, your family or your friends. A Group of nine of us went there and had a relaxing weekend. Five bedrooms, a few of them with walk-in closets. Excellent saunas and jacuzzi that you can adjust to your needs. A fully equipped kitchen with everything you need - just like at home.

We wanted to stay in the heart of one of Slovenia‘s wine regions, and this was simply perfect in terms of meeting that requirement. We received s glass of bubbles with breakfast and upon sip one, we immediately understood why we had heard on numerous occasions that Istenič are of the best bubbles producers in the country. So delicious! self check-in was easy and a breeze.
