Benita and Per were impeccable hosts. They were very responsive throughout our stay, providing us with many recommendations on things to do, places to visit, where to eat, as well as tips on beautiful secluded sites away from the tourist masses. The hosts have also been generous on borrowing their bikes to go around the island a couple times.
The place is perfect for a simple countryside getaway in two. It’s located within walking distance various sites, restaurants, supermarket, boat station etc. It is very clean, with all the necessary amenities. The shower facility nearby is modern, Clean and easy to access.
The island itself is a typical island in the Swedish archipelago, with various pine trees, berry bushes, moss, lichens, deers, lizards, marine birds etc. and the Islanders being good stewards for this.

Remote but not isolated, this Cabin is a perfect getaway. We stayed with a 9 month old baby for a weekend and we enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings and the absolute relax and peace of this tiny island. Gert lives on the island and he is there for any need, but you can enjoy plenty of privacy and silence. One gets there with the ferry waxholmsbolaget, so no need of special tickets or advanced booking. The family cabin is spacious and comfortable, but you get to use other lovely settings too, such as the sauna, the Korean-style lounge and the barbecue overlooking the sea. We loved this and would love to come back again.

Extraordinary nice island location and simple but very comfortable tiny „houses“. Hosts have been very helpful and super friendly. Everything’s easy.
