Everything! Alexansadar owns this old blacksmith shop—his grandfather’s—and he and his wife have made a spectacular small apartment. Beautifully appointed within—cool old ceiling, great bathroom, small but serviceable kitchen, lovely lightening fixtures, excellent AC, super bed. Small and attractive and cozy inside. And a huge porch with chairs and lounge and picnic table. All covered by the original porch roof—-great to stow bicycles from rain and wonderful lounging. Quiet and tranquil. A short walk to the river and a well stocked small grocery. I have stayed in thousands of places while cycling 84,000 kilometers around the world—Alexandar’s Old Forge is one of my favorites around the world. Stay here. If you are lucky to get it.
