This little cottage is in the most beautiful location. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The village is spectacular. We felt so privileged to be able to ‘live’ in such a special place for a few days. The terrace and the views are wonderful. Lots of lovely restaurants in the village. The local lake beach is fab with a great restaurant and lots of water activities. The communication from the hosts was friendly and responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

This accommodation is conveniently located near Monsaraz village, reservoirs and Spanish border. Mourao is a small, quiet town with a castle. The appartment is on the ground floor and we could park just next to the house. It is spacious with an entry room, two bedrooms, kitchen sitting area and a small patio next to the kitchen.. Also bathroom is a good size. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Free Wi-Fi was reliable. There are several dogs in the neighborhood, but fortunately they were quiet during the night. Recommend it.

Great location outside Monsaraz castle walls but at a short short walk distance. Allowing you to easily explore Monsaraz and hills, Everything is nearby. Cute traditional house made of stone, well renovated, allowing you to experience live in a old Monsaraz house. Parking also available near the house, we had no difficulty finding a spot.
