What I liked the most from Casa Bianca was how well equipped the house was, the swimming pool and the bbq corner. There is a huge games room on the ground floor with a pool table, a TV and a HiFi system where you can enjoy some vintage tape, like ABBA Gold ! Truly a throwback in time experience being able to insert and play an ABBA tape ! The location is reasonable if you want to enjoy some local beaches, they are just a 20 min drive from the house. The village is small but safe and very welcoming to guests, There is local grocery store close to the church where you can buy most of the groceries needed and delicious fresh bred ! I also loved running every morning along the local road and breath fresh air ! Special mention to our host, Brendan, that was there on our arrival and provided a local tour of the house.

Of 5 places during a trip, this was by far our favorite. The house was clean, odor free, comfortable, quiet, and dark for sleeping due to movable shutters. The setting is unmatchable, surrounded by lovely gardens, fruit trees, and farmland with beautiful views. It was a perfect location for exploring the surrounding areas. The host was lovely and we appreciated the welcome basket of food, wine, and beer. I would stay here again, in fact, I wish I could live here! The kids loved the pool and swam in it in early April. Pictures online don't do it justice.

Our host, Francisco, was wonderful. He met us onsite to give us the key and show us the house. As a welcome, he had set out yummy bread, water, milk, fruit and snacks. He talked to us about things to do and see in the area, provided maps, business cards, and even discount coupons. He was delightful, simply one of the most welcoming hosts I have ever had on Booking or on competing home rental websites. When we checked out, his son came to pick up the keys. Francisco Jr was a very nice young man. He brought us a lovely piece of flower artwork his mother Deolinda had handcrafted for us as a thank you for staying at Casa dos Capinha. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
