Very relaxing and although it doesn’t have a pool yet the river is close and is a great swimming spot. The garden is lush and colourful and a great place to relax particularly in the evening. Carla and Paulo work really hard to make sure that everything is just perfect for your stay and nothing is too much for them. We spent five weeks here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Part of that time we had our 3 grandchildren aged between four and 11 staying with us. The river swimming for kids of that age is even better than a swimming pool and we have spent hours relaxing on the beach next to the river to then return to lush green garden and a barbecue.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.

Casa d'Avó is a very pleasant house. It was very clean, a lot of space, really everything you need is there. The garden is nice and the pool is wonderfull, fantastic to lie down there on a sunbed near the lemon tree enjoying the sun. The outside kitchen is a big plus. So nice to sit there and have lunch or dinner, or to bbq.

Great location just on the Camino and a lovely place to spend the evening. Check in was quick and easy, and we felt very well looked after.
It felt very clean, and it was obvious that they had put a lot of thought into covid precautions.
The room was beautiful, so clean and a lovely ensuite. It was so lovely to find some bananas and water waiting on the room for us.
There was a well-equipped kitchen where we cooked our dinner and we enjoyed eating it in the courtyard.
Very clean, nicely furnished rooms with the use of a lounge to relax in. Hotel doesn't provide meals but has a fully fitted kitchen to use if you want to make something or bring food in.
