Amazing place! Exactly what I needed to cut off from noise and city. The surroundings are just beautiful and the house is so clean and spacious - there is nothing more I would have wanted. Beds are super comfortable, two bathrooms make so much sense when you travel with family. We used the kitchen to cook for ourselves, and sometimes visited restaurants nearby. There is a shop in the city, where you can buy most of the required stuff, you can also drive 10 mins by car to a bigger supermarket.

Our stay at Casa Kashubia was amazing. The host was very easy to communicate with, and we received well-prepared instructions a few days before our trip. The location is magical, set in the wild Kashubian region, surrounded by lakes, forests, and beautiful nature. It’s the perfect place for hiking through fields and forests while enjoying the fresh air, and there are plenty of mushrooms to be found in the nearby woods.
One of the first things we noticed was the silence — all we could hear were the sounds of nature. The nights were mesmerizing, with the clear, dark sky revealing the stars and the Milky Way. It was truly breathtaking.
The house itself was brand new and equipped with everything we needed and even more. Despite there being four houses on the property, we had plenty of privacy, thanks to the well-placed terrace. The air conditioning was a lifesaver on hot summer days. The kitchen was great, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Combined with the tranquil nights, we slept so well and woke up feeling refreshed. Note: the bed is on a half-floor accessible by fairly steep stairs. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it could be important for some people to consider.
The Wi-Fi worked well, also the 5G coverage is excellent for those needing more speed, making it a good spot for remote work.
You can reach nearby lake beaches in just 5-10 minutes by car, and there’s a great restaurant in Brzeźno Szlacheckie, about 5 minutes away by car.
A tip for driving there: Google Maps shows the way from the south; you'll face several kilometres of rough gravel road. But it's best to approach from the north via Brzeźno Szlacheckie, as you'll have a mostly asphalt road, with only the last 500 meters being gravel.
We are so grateful to the owners for creating such a beautiful place and can’t wait to return :)
P.S. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right outside the house — it was unforgettable!
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
