We had an excellent stay that far exceeded our expectations. The indoor facilities were fully equipped, clean, and tidy, and the house felt as good as new. We were able to cook our own breakfast. What impressed us the most was the stunning view of the Milky Way at night, which made my friend skip their trip to the South Island. The beds were very comfortable, and the living room was spacious enough for the four of us. It was an amazing stay, though one night was too short.

The location of the property was excellent, it was very clean and tidy and the grounds were very pretty and the size of the house was great we were lucky to have the main house to ourselves.

My room at Applecross Sanctuary was spacious and comfortable. It was very clean and cosy. The hosts are extremely friendly and thoughtful, making sure the heat pump was on in the evening, for example, so I came home to a warm room. The location out in the country side is peaceful but you are still close to Cambridge and also Mystery Creek was only about 20-25 minutes away most days. The wifi and tv options were excellent.
Great location to Cambridge and also state highway one. The place was very clean and well presented. There is a heat pump in each bedroom. The lounge to sit in was roomy and comfortable. We felt the breakfast was excellent. As we were travelling to our holiday home we made good use of the bar fridge in our room to keep our food cold.
