A fantastic hytte in a fantastic location. We were looking for peace and seclusion, but still not too far from civilisation, and here we found it all. We will definitely want to come back here again.

Its an amazing place in the middle of nowhere, perfect to relax and detach from the fast paced everyday world. The house is beautiful, clean and quite spacious. We were there just as a couple with a dog ;) but Im sure it can easily hold a bigger group of people too.
Contact with the owner was super easy and really helpful (mentioned below).
We were there in winter and we found Tuddals Joker to be the best shop for supplies and fire wood (definitely the cheapest offer).
With the fresh snow 4x4 car turned out really useful in the area.

Great cabin, with lots of amenity to cook your own meals and relax. Near a nice lake with bush walks and possible swimming on a warm day.
Was raining and cold during our stay so we enjoyed the fire and well insulated cabin.
Good layout for the seven of us, for both kids and adults.

We liked evenings in the hut, with litting the fire in iron stove in a cosy athmosfere. We followed the owner'a advice regarding activities in the area - we have had a great time outdoors! Planty of things to do, including hiking Gaustatoppen, exploring Rjukan and eating original rømmegrøt at a local farm.

We were there in winter and I'm writing these reviews based on that. Beautiful cottage at quiet and peaceful place to spend time with family. Wooden house with two double bedrooms and a mezzanine for 2 people. Fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, kettle and stove with oven. Good speed WiFi. Cell network is also available. Bathroom with sink and shower and heated floor. Driveway for cars in front of the house. If someone is planning to ski at Gausta skicenter, the shortest route leading there is closed for winter and you have to go around 90 km to get there. Linens is additionally paid for each person. Deposit for cleaning the cottage NOK 500. Nice hosts are always willing to help.

Absolutely everything! Place was easy to find, the owners very nice and helpful, very clean and new. They even had a big decorated Christmas tree! The roads were cleaned after every night! We are very satisfied with our choise.
