The location with panoramic ocean views was excellent. At times we could see 20-30 fishing boats on the sea and some much larger ships too.
The owner was very keen to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. He and his wife couldn’t have been more friendly.
There is plenty of parking and there are convenience stores and restaurants just a short stroll away.
The property is right by a main road along the sea front. There are double sliding glass doors, each door is double glazed. When closed, they offer a most impressive degree of soundproofing. If you want fresh air, there is a sliding screen door too. We generally slept with the glass doors open and just the screen door closed. The traffic noise didn’t worry us at all, but it was good to know that it could be shut out.

Very friendly and even more musical host and hostess. One evening they gave a live music performance, with a bit of karaoke from our side and other guests.
About half an hour drive to the start of several great hikes in nearby National Park.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Very good breakfast by hostel standards, which includes toast, boiled eggs, coffee, etc.
The owner is a really nice, friendly, and kind lady. It was a pleasure speaking with her and staying at her property.
Very clean, with a spacious and relaxed common area.
Spacious lockers.
Owner gives great recommendations for places to see, hike, eat, etc, including how to get there.
Location is walking distance from Sokcho intercity bus terminal, and close to some nice sights along the water area (the bridge, etc).
Judith, the owner of the Guesthouse was an amazing host! She was very helpful and even helped me book the bus to my next destination. It was very clean and the breakfast was good. The location is close to the Intercity bus station and very close to the bus station for the National Park Seoraksan
Very quiet, but excellent location! Only a couple of minutes walk from the bus station and the bus stop to the national park and Naksan. Friendly owner gives you lots of information and allows you to drop off luggage before check in. Rooms are basic but very clean and more than adequate for the excellent price.
Lovely common area. There is everything you need.
The rooms where very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Besides that, the host is very kind and incredibly helpful.
As soon as I stepped inside, I felt like being at home . I loved every single detail. The hostel is very clean and Yoo is very nice and friendly. He gave me a warm welcome and explained everything about what to do and where to eat. Plus, the hostel is near to the terminal station.
