We spend our vacation here with our 20 month old daughter. It is a beautiful house with a spacious balcony for breakfast and dinner, beautiful garden with swimming pool and wonderful views of the surrounding mountains, the Mediterranean Sea and the romantic town of Moneglia. During the day, soak up the sun by the pool and enjoy the sunset with a few drinks on the balcony. The host was very helpful during our vacation. It's quite a steep, curly road up the mountain, but after a few times up you get used to it. By driving up there you will be rewarded with a fantastic house and probably the best view in the area. Nature, tranquility and well-maintained wonderfull accommodation, centrally located in the Levante region of Liguria. We hope to come back some day in the future!

We have stayed at 4 locations during our 3-week Italian-Swiss journey, and Colline d'argento was by far the best...cleanest, best amenities, most beautiful location, most comfortable, and most reasonably priced. My husband and I have a 5-star vacation rental in the U.S., and we are very picky. This home far exceeded our expectations. Michele and his mother met us upon arrival and were very welcoming. The apartment is on the ground floor (4 steps up), and they live on the first floor. Michele is very helpful, but not intrusive. We did not need them after check-in, but were comforted knowing they were available. Everything was in perfect working order...a relief after staying in an apartment in Florence with many problems. The home is light and airy, which was very welcome after staying in 2 dark and damp places. We were welcomed with very thoughtful surprises, lovely amenities, and comfy everything. Of course, the garden and terrace are beautifully tended and arranged. Twice when showing us the property, I complimented Michele, and he said, humbly "we try our best." Clearly, they do. These hosts do try their best, and they get it right!

The balcony and view is amazing, definitely the highlight of the property. We spent most of our time out there relaxing in the sun and watching the sunset. The bed is very comfy and the bedroom is very dark, which was great for sleep. The property is a short walk on the boardwalk into town for coffee, dinner or the beach. We loved the beach and the town. The owner had excellent dinner recommendations.

It's a very picturesque place to stay at: it is very cozy, all the furniture and equipment is brand new. The location is quite far (especially if you don't have a car - it's about an hour-long walk from the beach uphill and the taxi service in Moneglia is a bit complicated to use), but it's very peaceful, with no noise, no traffic, and no light pollution which makes it great for star gazing. I'd recommend it to people who'd like to spend a calm vacation and have a car.
