Heavenly location 😃 if you want to stay here book river view cottage only. It's worth it. Directly excess to the riverside. You can hear the sound of the flowing river. Just sit on the riverside in the morning and forget the rest of the world.

It's a homestay, the room we booked is spacious and the view from room is beautiful. I loved the peace of mind and silence with symphony of crickets and gloworms at night. Food is delicious home food and we always had choice to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful. Have basic amenities within. The location is great it's located at Aanachal and I find it best as it is not far away yet not in the middle of town. The nearby small town is beautiful and authentic to buy basic stuff if you ran out of anything.

An incredible stay in an incredible location. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and left to enjoy the stunning property. We even had a medical emergency at 2 am, and Thomas accompanied us to the nearest hospital and stayed with us until it was resolved. Can't put into words the peace and quiet at Periyar River Lodge. We'll definitely be back again!
