Quiet place; everything from wiring, switches to furniture is old, but well maintained. It is almost impossible to see such home these days. We just spent the evening looking at the river flowing outside in the rains. Hosts were great and left us to our privacy and joined us for dinner and breakfast. Nice, homely stay.

Property is fair but the location was very poor. There is literally nothing around and the ferry service right in front is extremely unreliable and frustrating. The staff was polite but overall experience was very basic and I wish we knew the area before we signed up. From a value for money point of view was not happy with the quality and service.

This was a blissful stay at the end of 2 weeks travelling around Kerala. We stayed here for 3 nights for my husbands 40th birthday and had a wonderful relaxing time. Jibin and the rest of the team were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious - some of the best we had including kid friendly options. The villas are very private and we barely saw anyone else at all. Incredibly clean and comfortable The beach is pretty and largely deserted apart from the odd fisherman/ stray dog - we walked on the beach but spent most of the time around the pool and in the hammock etc. Not cheap but worth every penny.

We had a wonderful stay at Alappuzha. The environment and the atmosphere helped us to relax. We had a very good stay. Excellent place to stay. The room is very clean , spacious and modern. All facilities are good and cozy.
We felt very welcome in Susan’s family home and she looked after us like we were her family. She was very helpful in organising a boat trip in a shikara for us which was a highlight of our trip to Alleppey and a car and driver for our onward journey. She kindly did some washing for us too for a modest charge. Breakfast was delicious and so were the homemade fried bananas and spiced tea that we had when we arrived. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and very clean.
If you’re looking for a budget friendly place, don’t miss this very accommodating, lovely family’s home stay! Very clean, spacious rooms, simple yet brand new interior furnishings. Great breakfast, best coconut crepes I have ever tasted!
Close to the waterway, friendly hosts, made us breakfast and flasks of tea the rest of the day, arranged a boat trip for us, spacious bedroom and living room + balcony. Very clean.

Large new room with an excellent bathroom in a quiet location. It was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. The two available rooms are upstairs, separate to the families' living area. There is a large outdoor covered patio that overlooks the garden where the delicious breakfast is served (fresh juice, toast, omelette, and coconut pancakes). It is a 4 minute walk to the local beach (great for sunset viewing).

Paul was a great and attentive host, the hotel is very clean, comfortable and finished to a really high standard, the room was spacious and set with high ceilings in a lovely old building. Breakfast was great, would definitely recommend for anyone staying in Alleppey!
The most friendly staff, the driver included. The room was very clean and the bed were convinient. The place hade a nice terrace and also a small library. Yummie breakfast. They gave us a lot of practical information, about trips and restaurants. We can really recommend the 4-6 kajak tour to get in the the smaller canals. The tuktuk-driver was so god so we asked him to frive of to Kochi with some sightseeing. Brilliant.
