The property was very homely/comfortable. I loved the "stable type" front door. The "welcome" beers in the fridge when we arrived were appreciated and enjoyed. Eileen is a very friendly host. We really enjoyed out stay
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The person who greeted me at the door was very hospitable and even though I arrived a bit late I was asked if I'd like anything to eat. The room was very clean and had everything one could need for an overnight stay. The shower was very powerful and the water hot. The house was very quiet and peaceful.
Lovely spacious room, bed very comfortable. Lovely bathroom, very clean. Views of the garden beautiful and so peaceful. Breakfast was tasty and well presented, everything thought of. The lounge and conservatory are amazing, I will have to spend longer when I return.
I had a great stay here at The Pilgrims Rest. The location was perfect as it was quiet and peaceful. It was very clean and felt very secure. I met Bridget who went out of her way to help me any way she could. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
