The cottage was bright, comfortable and with everything we needed, if a little old fashioned in places. An excellent location for exploring this part of Connemara. Mr Clancy called in just after we arrived to welcome us and give information about the cottage and the area. It was lovely to meet him.

Beautiful homely house, open fire, amazing views, house was spotless & the lovely lady who handed over keys was so friendly, professional & knowledgeable about the local area. Would highly recommend, we explored the local area & had lovely cosy nights on the comfy couches in front of the fire.

Everything.it was spectacular.the rooms were unbelievable,en suites were amazing with great showers.the setting is breathtaking,locals couldn’t have been friendlier and the food in the bar/restaurant was of a very very high standard. The host was friendly also.

Barbara the host was looking out for us and already had the property open ready to greet and showed us around.
The property was very spacious with more bedrooms than we actually needed - our two boys were very happy to have their own rooms and double beds! There was also an abundance of parking for several cars. The property was very clean, tidy and warm and the host was very welcoming and helpful during our stay, providing information and extras for our stay.

This cottage is stunning! It is located on a small and very beautiful and calm island, which can be reached by road. There is everything you can wish for in the cottage and the surroundings and views are so beautiful! The cottage even has a heatable bed, and a super comfy relax sofa. The perfect place to get away from the day to day stress and noises and to relax. From here you can do many trips and hikes (e.g. the diamond hill hike in Connemara Nationalpark). This place definitely counts to the most beautiful places I have been so far. Geraldine, the host is a very nice, friendly and helpful person. She provided us with a lot of valuable info about the surroundings and offered her help with everything. I can fully recommend this place! We had an amazing time!!
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. This cottage was excellent value for money and is the perfect spot for exploring Connemara. Located along a beautiful part of the coast with white sand beaches within 5 mins drive of the house. We enjoyed food in the local - Coynes a few times and chatted with the local donkey! We also met the host and had a lovely chat about our holiday. Definitely highly recommend if you're looking for a quite escape. I liked the area so much would love a holiday home of my own right there!
