The house location is excellent for exploring the area, you can access the main road within a minute, but it is nice and quiet. It was perfect for our two families with small children, as two floors can function independently, so everyone had their own space and comfort. Danica, the host, was so entertaining and welcoming.

The owners were very friendly. Eventhough they did not speak English, they used google translate so we could communicate. We recieved liquer that they made themselves and cookies from the area as a gift. Plitvitce lakes was about 15 km from the house. The owners helped us to book the tickets which you have to book upfront. I would definetely recommend the house!

Big and gorgeous villa, 18 minutes drive from Plitvica's entrance 2. We stayed there for 3 nights in August. The views are amazing, every room has its little balcony with endless hills and mountains view. The main porch is beautiful – with several tables and sun chairs to eat outside and to relax. The Jacuzzi is very clean, high quality and its location is the best – nature and green all around. The living room is cozy, and looks like an interior designer did an excellent work combining old and modern items. The sofa is big and very comfortable. The kitchen is perfect – coffee machine, dishwasher, big oven, dinner table, equipped closets with everything needed to cook. Many kinds of special teas and Nespersso capsules. Every inch of the villa was very clean. Each floor has its bathroom – new and comfortable and well equipped. There is also a washing machine in the lower floor. The village is small and very quiet, but a few minutes by car there is a big supermarket and bakery, and a great restaurants (Villabita, and the pizza in Gardina). This accommodation is a place we all would really want to come back to.
