We were welcomed very warmly, the arrival and departure times were flexible (maybe we were just lucky as there was no one coming on our departure day). The house is exceptionally well equipped with brand new appliances, such as juice squeezer, two kinds of toasters and an AC in every bedroom :) It has a delightful side view on the sea, also it is just 5 minutes to the beach on foot. It is easy to park due to the proximity of the road. Hosts were super kind, supporting and helpful - they reacted really quickly to all the questions we had. We enjoyed the stay very much.

First of all... - it is a large and well presented house. The photos on booking are not making justice to the house and the land around the house. You have privacy and everything that you want for a wonderful stay. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all fully equiped. A large livingroom and a well equiped kitchen. Outside there is a barbeque area,a pool and a verry large garden. And by large..really large. We will return for sure.

Our vacation at Villa Anthira was perfect. We arrived at night and even though the flight was late, the owners of the villa were waiting for us to give the keys, explain and show everything. The owners of the villa are lovely people who helped us a lot in everything. The communication with them was very easy and we got answers quickly to all the questions we had, for example about restaurants, entertainment places, etc. Villa is in an amazing place - a minute from the sea. The beach is very quiet, almost without people. Clean sea, easy entry. The villa has a large and well-kept outdoor area with a pool, a BBQ area and a beautiful terrace. Everything is equipped at the highest level both inside and outside: kitchenware, bathroomware, rooms. There are dining tables in several places - inside the house, on the balcony, in the BBQ area. A very very comfortable, inviting place, with very kind and helpful landlords. Warmly recommended!!! We will come back for sure.

We have spent two weeks in Traditional Seaside Cottage Chania. The house is big enough for two families (4 adults and 4 kids). The cottage is fully equipped for living, very comfortable and clean. A big terrace with a large table to spend evenings and rest after exploring Crete is brilliant. Large dining table inside, perfect for family breakfast. Balcony on the second floor (sea view), air conditioners in each room, absolutely all kitchen equipment, two TV sets with plenty of programs, washing machine and much more. Even a Moka pot and filtered coffee machine are there. We have found sugar, coffee, tea, fresh water, juice, a huge plate of fruits... No need to go shopping at once after arriving. The house is prepared for trouble-free holidays. All equipment is in mint condition. The interior is bright and very cozy. Area around: Quite good local Rapaniana beach 400m away. Mini market (snacks, drinks, water stuff) 300m away. Small but really good, for kids, Selini Aquapark: 700m. The bakery, food shop, and family restaurant "Kriti" are also about 700m away from Seaside Cottage. Supermarkets (Lidl and one other), leisure areas with pubs, family restaurants, street food, and gift shops are about 15 minutes away by car. Generally speaking, locations are really good for exploring the island. Chania and Kisamos are about 30min by car. Rethymno - 1h. No worries about car parking, there is plenty of free space near the house to drop your car. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Owners: George and his mum met us at the Traditional Seaside Cottage and were surprised with hot home-cooked food (Moussaka). Trust me, after a long flight and driving, tasty homemade food is the best that can happen. We are very grateful for this. It's the best welcome we have ever experienced. George helped us a lot during the trip with advice, a must-visit list, and so on.

Beautifully presented property in large grounds. Felt spacious and group of 10 able to mix together or find their own space. Pool area great for chilling and cooling off. Bedrooms all well sized upstairs with their own balcony. Villa is well away from neighbouring properties giving sense of privacy and freedom. The owners are approachable and easy to contact. Property within walking distance of the beach. A car probably required to explore the beautiful island though bus service to Chania stops at the bottom of the lane

The house has two bedrooms and shops are fairly close by. Well protected from mosquitos and flies. It's good if you drive otherwise great taxi fairs .
