We also met the nicest manager ever (Sofia) she did everything thing for us and her cheesecakes is super delicious, also Vicky was very nice and lovely. I was so overwhelmed with their kindness. Amazing location out of the hustle and bustle of Oia, beautiful traditional greek setting, very good air conditioning, breakfast included, AMAZING views from the terrace of the island and perfect to watch the sunset. Most of all Nikolaos was an amazing host, answered every question we could have and was so helpful and attentive to us. do not hesitate to stay here :)

Had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights towards the end of our Europe trip. Extremely modern, clean and overall had a very comfortable stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with our stay. They helped in recommending various restaurants, organising tours and transfers to and from airport and sites around Santorini. We were welcomed on arrival from our pre- organised taxi with bottles of water and were then walked to our suite which was absolutely incredible. Exceeded expectations. We were given a thorough explanation about the island and its history on arrival to our suite. View from the suite was so beautiful and suite is mainly private with own hot jacuzzi. Incredible to have private breakfast brought to our room to either have outside on the deck or inside. Location is only a 5 minute walk to Pyrgos town. Would definitely stay here again.

Ioannis is a fabulous host. From providing a wealth of helpful and interesting information about the island to booking us a taxi when we needed to get to the port and back, Ioannis is always at the end of WhatsApp to provide assistance. The Winery Suite is a testament to the history of the building as a place where grapes were smashed under foot and wine was produced. The apartment has been restored sympathetically, with glass floor space looking down into where the wine used to flow and curved ceilings and walls resembling the original cave-like structure. The whole apartment is very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped, including a lovely assortment of drinks and continental breakfast items to get you started. Two bathrooms are really convenient and the shower was hot with great pressure (toiletries provided :) The location in Pyrgos is excellent - it is a small village away from the maddening crowds and at a high point of the island with views all around (be sure to watch the sunset from Franco’s cafe at the top of the village!) I would suggest you have a car if you want to see the whole island as buses tend to generally travel to Fira before branching out elsewhere. Plus, there are places on the island you can only get to by car. There is parking available at the apartment, but it is down a very narrow alley and I wasn’t quite brave enough to drive a rental car down it (though others drove bigger cars with no problem). We parked about 100 metres away in a good sized car park which worked really well for us. The walk into the village is 5 mins and you can try some of Ioannis’s recommendations for where to eat (Kantounis was excellent and extremely popular). There are a few little mini markets and shops for buying essentials. Come stay at the Winery Suite….you will love it. And I know that one day I will be back to this beautiful island again and will definitely book well in advance to stay at Flora’s House.
