such a beautiful place! we stayed as a family with a toddler and baby in Lemonia, the ground flour villa with private jacuzzi, garden, lemon tree, 3 spacious chambers, 2 bathrooms and a lovely kitchen with dishwasher. How much we enjoyed the private outside area, such a relaxing space! The environment is a pure gift; walk 5 steps outside and you’ll meet a beautiful sea, cosy restaurants and bars, but all not crowdy, and awing (my senses could not stop enjoying the cooling breeze, the clear water, the calming waves and the warm sand… such a gift! last but not least; the Cretan people; before I knew it; I was hugging locals, and how lovely the were for my kids, incredible! The South-east Cretans are golden. more golden than any Chrissy Island beach. Special kudos to Romeo, managing Lemonia residents, Greek though in love with Italy and Russia, he showed us the warmest heart, was ready any minute to support, help or just have a laugh.. The host Frederik is very friendly and communicative, waited for us to meet till 2 a.m. at arrival night, he gives a lot of information about surroundings and useful points such as beaches, restaurants, shops etc. He lives in a neighbouring cottage and is always in touch. A very pretty and friendly small dog lives also with him - she likes all guests and is very contactive. The cottage is not very large, but comfortable enough, fully equipped, even spices and etc. were in the kitchen. The host also prepared some food for breakfast and a few water bottles for us. Thank you, Fred! We fully recommend this place for groups as well for families with kids!

Excellent host, wonderful space and a very confortable and enjoyable stay. The garden is beautiful and the house itself is so nice and clean. It's a short drive to Ierapetra and the beaches and restaurants there. I couldn't recommend Arhondia House highly enough, we'll be coming back next summer.

The villa was very modern, extremely clean and had a lot of facilities. Checking in and out was seamless and it was a lovely touch to have food and refreshments ready for us.
