Everything was fantastic! The beautiful, almost new villa with beautiful furnishings and everything very clean. The central location on the island and a supermarket nearby. An absolute gem! ✨️ The villa is amazing, best location, comfy beds, air-conditioners in every room, beautiful yard, location is 20 min by car to the main town- Kerkira and 20 min by car to the most beautiful beaches of Paleokastritsa. There are lovely greek taverns located close to the villa. Our group totally enjoyed the 1 week stay and we were really sad to leave. Spiros was the most welcoming host and has answered all our questions, he is amazing! We cannot wait to visit Corfu and the house again! ❤️

Sometimes the best holiday memories are of the country , or the place you stayed or the people you met . With Corfu , Riza Stone Cottage & the lovely Vassos , we had the benefit of all three . We cannot possibly improve on the previous marvellous reviews except to say that they were all justified .
A few practical tips ;
Check with Vassos about car hire , taxis and excursions before you go on line . You will not go wrong .
Turn right out of the drive & walk 10 mins to Linda's ( from Halifax ) supermarket and then right again to walk uphill for 5 mins to Spiros 97 taverna ( ask to sit upstairs ) .
Turn left out of the drive & walk 5 mins to the green line bus stop for the bus from Ermones to Corfu town . 2 euros & 30 mins
Finally . Thank you Vassos for being the warm , kind person that you are . We were sorry to leave and when we left , it felt like saying goodbye to a dear friend .

We were a bit afraid at first because the property seemed new and it had only a few reviews. However, the accommodation looks even better in reality than in the pictures. We had everything we needed there - hairdryer, washing machine and a lot of other things. Plus, the host was really kind and left us some bottles of water in the fridge. All in all, it was excellent. Sofia is an amazing host, she went above and beyond to give us recommendations of restaurants and beaches nearby. She also left us a lovely chilled bottle of white wine on our arrival. The views from the villa are spectacular, the beds are very comfortable. It was also very clean. Sofia is very respectful of your space too.
Kontogialos, the beach in walking distance is one of the many best of Corfu! Room very clean, a/c working, Madalena is a very good cook! Chilled environment, got to know more travellers easily .
We loved the see view from our apartment. The view from the pool was also perfect, the pool was very relaxed almost like a private pool. our son has enjoyed a lot. We enjoyed also a jacuzzi.
The owner was also very kind and helpful. He prepared for us the bottle of rose as a warm welcome, it was really nice.
The beach is really beautiful, sun beds are everywhere, you pay 10-15 euros for the set.

The bedroom, dining room and bar area were all very clean and well appointed and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent and there was always a big choice. The location was good as it is only a ten minute walk into the village where there was a good range of tavernas selling authentic Greek cuisine.
Sofia is a terrific host who is always happy to help when you need anything. She even drove us to a restaurant before the kitchen closed on our first night there, which not many people would do.
The villa has a great view and is quite conveniently located. Pelekas, Glyfada beach, and Mirtiotissa beach are all a 30 minute walk from the property, so you can traverse easily enough by foot.
The private pool is a good size and the garden is lovely with several seating options.
The breakfasts were substantial, healthy and very tasty. The room was always cleaned and had lost of space. The facilities were lovely and relaxing - nice music, very clean pool, well designed shading. The staff were all friendly and always very helpful. We ate in the restaurant most evenings because the food was so good.
The accommodation was very clean and it had everything we needed. The view from the balcony is beautiful and we enjoyed spending time there and watch the sunset. Also, Antigoni is very friendly and we communicated with her easily. The beach is sandy and large and the water is shallow and warm.
