The villa exceeded our expectations! It was spacious and well equipped, with sea view, additional outdoor dining setting, beautifully renovated with marble floors, air con throughout and 2 bathrooms and showers. Our stay was easy, comfortable and relaxing. It was about 20-25 minutes away from the airport and close to a water park.
The 1 minute walk to the beach was so convenient and with plenty of beach space for towels to avoid paying for sunbeds. You could pay for any of the sun loungers either side of the beach space. There was a lifeguard at the same spot and an outdoor shower at the house helped for washing off sand. The area close to the house is underdeveloped so it's less noisey than the hotels, but a short walk to bars, shops (7 mins walk) and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the next door restaurant called Kastri with its beautiful veranda seating (see photo) and we used J&D Rent a Car, 2 doors down.
Our hosts Marina and Kostas were lovely, flexible and their communications were fast and easy to understand. They were very responsive to our questions, using WhatsApp, so we didn't need to use roaming on our mobile phones. Our neighbours were a lovely, quiet family with a sweet dog called Steve! They also said let us know if you need anything!
So many details and extras were included, such as filter coffee machine, iron, parasols, the TV was Netflix and YouTube enabled, washing machine liquid tabs, tea, coffee, chilled bottled water (the tap water was perfectly fine for drinking), ice in the freezer, soaps, shampoos, sewing kits, clothes rack, and even a baby high chair and toys which we didn't use. Our kids loved the sofa (sofa beds) for relaxing on, Jenga and Uno games and beach next door. There was even a couple of mosquito bite relief lotions on the dressing tables, which we didn't use as we only saw a couple of mosquitos.

A wonderful reception – even though we arrived after midnight, The owner sent a car for us from the airport and was waiting with local refreshments and a gracious welcoming tour of Lucida ;
Staying here means you don’t have to think of anything !
; they had thought of every little thing we could possibly need to make our stay as relaxing as possible, from the copious snacks and refreshments to the toiletries and entertainment.
The little details make it a fabulous stay, nicely spread out so even as a large group you could find lots of quiet areas to chill out and recoup, but with an owner that is eager to show the beauty of Rhodes so that you could have your very own guide around the island to experience whatever suited you most from beaches to the hills or history of the town.
The gastronomy ? – well Hippocrates says, “Let food be thy medicine” and Lucida takes this sentiment seriously. From your morning breakfast outside under the olive and lemon trees with fresh local Greek produce – to the evening with a grill and fresh cut salad with fragrant fresh oregano and lemons straight from the gardens around you – it’s just pure bliss. If you’re yet to feel healed, retreat to the reposeful areas in and around the residence and let your worries whittle away to the soothing sound of cicadas, from plunge pool side to garden hammock or numerous chill out beds and cabanas around the welcome shade of the beautifully designed garden – with tortoises under the trees and kittens prowling the terraces; it is just blissful.
You will not go hungry that is certain !
We used every corner to relax – and the tv outside under the cooling canopy was just perfect for lazy evening.
The ‘jacuzzi’ was great – more a good-sized plunge pool, spotlessly clean, the perfect temperature and well designed to get in and out of, with a brilliant outside shower.
There is a gym with everything you could need and bikes and paddle boards.
In the evening the outdoor lighting was just perfect.

It was beautiful, well maintained. Clean and homely with a modernised Greek design. It had good WiFi, air con, and two android smart TV’s (for streaming TV on players such as Netflix, Prime Video etc..). The two seater hot tub was lovely, alongside the additional outside shower. The terrace in which these were situated in was beautiful, we always used this space when we had dinner at the property. The kitchen had an electric hob, and a microwave/grill, plus plenty of crockery and cutlery to dine in at the property! The location was the best bit. The village of Koskinou was beautiful, surrounded by locals and the best restaurants we ate at during our stay on the island, it truly felt traditional.

Konstantinos and Jeanette are amazing hosts. They communicated with us very well before and during our trip. When we met Jeanette and arrived at the house, she kindly explained every detail to us. It was a very warm welcome. We were greeted with her delicious homemade bread and muffins she baked with her daughter. They even had a bottle of celebration wine ready for us as a newlywed married.
Since we were only two people, everything we needed in the house was more than enough. The entire place was spotless. The house is located in a peaceful village, just a 10-15 minute drive from the Old Town. It is elegantly decorated in a traditional style and has a large, peaceful terrace. We were extremely satisfied with every aspect of our stay. If I were to visit Rhodes again, I would definitely choose to stay in this house.

Spacious farmhouse wonderful decoration scenic surrounding cute animals brilliant hospitality. Everything is perfect (except maybe that you need a car to do sightseeing. Dina offered her bicycle for guest’s to use too. Also I already did most of the sightseeing in Rhodes before coming here so my entire stay was just to do some work in quietness anyway, which this place perfectly satisfied my needs).

The modern complex is very clean and tidy and tidy, it is well looked after by their friendly staff. The addition of a private pool to our suite was a real bonus. A good breakfast is served in the neat reception area each morning. It is in close proximity to a lovely little beach which has several cafe/bars and restaurants. There are also a few small supermarkets nearby. It is a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Faliraki.
