The villa was immaculate and presented as a home from home. The bedrooms were cool even in July and the bathroom was roomy and well equipped. One very slight criticism is that the children’s room could have done with a better blackout blind.

You must go to Villa Horizon. The view is exceptional and unforgettable, the villa is located in a very quiet area and it is very private there. You have a pool for yourself. The rooms are comfortable, cosy and clean. The hosts are very helpful and they want to make your stay as great as possible.

Lovely villa with a beautiful pool and stunning views of the sea and mountains. Really close to great restaurants and the beach. Host left some gifts to welcome us and the cleaning staff were so friendly and thorough.

Lovely villa in a beautiful peaceful location over-looking Bali. Spacious, well equipped (the air con is very, very new) and really clean, the host Mike is extremely welcoming, it’s clear it’s important to him you enjoy your stay. The highlight of the villa is definitely the outside, loads of space surrounded by trees to offer shade if required, at the centre of it all is the stunning pool, it was loved by kids & adults alike. A further nice little extra touch is the ability to pick your own variety of fruit & veg from the rear of the property - we picked tomatoes, peppers, figs & lemons, sadly the grapes & olives weren’t quite ready yet ! The kids have told me to write that they were impressed with the WiFi ! Overall a really lovely villa & we throughly enjoyed our 2 weeks here.

Beautiful Villa and welcoming hosts. Our family had the holiday of a lifetime at Villa Aveva and we were sad to leave. This Villa has everything and more. Spacious, plenty of indoor and outdoor eating areas, clean pools, outdoor pizza oven and bbq. Stunning gardens with fresh lemons, berry's, oranges and more growing. And a 10 minute walk from the beautiful seaside town of Bali with fantastic shops, restaurants, beaches and the loveliest people. Perfect if you have a baby travelling too as they have a little shallow pool, cot, highchair. The hosts were so accommodating and had made the most delicious cakes for our Family on our arrival. 10/10 would come back again and again and again 🇬🇷💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The village of Krousonas is charming. We had the luck to visit during a local festival and it was the highlight of our trip. It is in a perfect location - away from busy Iraklio, with a beautiful road leading up to the village (<20min). The property is somewhat secluded, near the top of the village. Feels secure, with a large door/wall providing an entrance. The bedroom is large, with plenty windows, and a very nice balcony allowing you to see the village, Iraklio and the ocean from far. The host is responsive.

The property was amazing, we had everything we needed and more. Clean , well maintained , with good quality bedding and towels. The kitchen was equipped with a coffee machine and also coffee pods( of the good quality) the fridge had some breakfast stuff there for the morning after our arrival, some beer as well. The hosts were more than welcoming and helpful with anything we needed regardless of the hour , they were available at any time of the day. They waited for our arrival at 1am with a welcoming plate with cheeses, salami, bread, pretzels, and freshly baked croissants. We also had home made raki and some wine. We came with our friends who recently got married and they prepared something special for them too . We can’t thank the hosts enough for the special treatment we received during our stay- and if we could give more than a 10 mark review we would give a 100. The property is also very close to the beach and to some really nice tavernas .

Set in Pentamodi, Pendamodi Vintage House is a recently renovated accommodation, 19 km from Heraklion Archaeological Museum and 21 km from The Palace of Knossos.

House was super clean. Our host met us to check we had everything we need and to explain the heating. It had turned cold so we were really pleased that there was central heating and it was turned on. And an open fire all ready for us to light. Our host welcomed us with a lot of fruit, perfect avocados and raki. We were told to pick fruit from the garden. There was a problem with the Internet and Greg tried really hard to fix it. He does not live nearby but came back the next day with a new box. Greg had provided me information on places to go before we arrived. And recommended restaurants during our stay. The whole family could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is very comfortable with an open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge area. There is one bathroom in the property and one across the courtyard. We did not use the courtyard in February (!), but it would be a lovely place to sit and eat when warmer. Pendamondi is a lovely small traditional village. The small shop sold basic supplies and was friendly. We ate twice at the local taverna. The food was special and we were looked after. Music on Saturday. Booking recommended. Altogether highly recommended.
