The flat is large and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, the sofas and lazy chairs are wonderful for lounging.The two bathrooms were great as there were 4 of us. The master bedroom is enormous and the bed is amazing. There are also mosquito screens on all doors and windows (always a plus). There's aircon in the living room and fans in the bedrooms. We just kept the bedroom doors open so it wasn't too hot indoors. The landlord was lovely and super discreet and welcomed us with a basket of delicious home-baked goods, cold water and wine. He was very helpful and communicative and accommodated my late checkout request. The location is great for a lazy day at the beach - the sea is about 5 mins away and you can see it from the living room, which I loved. The property is about 20 min drive to Chania, 30 min drive from the airport, and about 40 min drive to Falasarna.

Great location. Quiet area close to beach and amenities. Fresh towels and bedding every few days of our stay and a clean of the villa. Very well equipped with everything you needed. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Our favourite spot was sitting on the roof terrace and looking out over the countryside and sea. If you are staying with young children there was ample toys and games for them. Also even a pram was provided. There were push bikes although we didn’t use them as we had a car. The pool was cleaned every morning of flying insects. The pool was more of a dipping pool as only small but perfect for cooling off at the end of the day. We would definitely stay again.

We have spent two weeks in Traditional Seaside Cottage Chania. The house is big enough for two families (4 adults and 4 kids). The cottage is fully equipped for living, very comfortable and clean. A big terrace with a large table to spend evenings and rest after exploring Crete is brilliant. Large dining table inside, perfect for family breakfast. Balcony on the second floor (sea view), air conditioners in each room, absolutely all kitchen equipment, two TV sets with plenty of programs, washing machine and much more. Even a Moka pot and filtered coffee machine are there. We have found sugar, coffee, tea, fresh water, juice, a huge plate of fruits... No need to go shopping at once after arriving. The house is prepared for trouble-free holidays. All equipment is in mint condition. The interior is bright and very cozy. Area around: Quite good local Rapaniana beach 400m away. Mini market (snacks, drinks, water stuff) 300m away. Small but really good, for kids, Selini Aquapark: 700m. The bakery, food shop, and family restaurant "Kriti" are also about 700m away from Seaside Cottage. Supermarkets (Lidl and one other), leisure areas with pubs, family restaurants, street food, and gift shops are about 15 minutes away by car. Generally speaking, locations are really good for exploring the island. Chania and Kisamos are about 30min by car. Rethymno - 1h. No worries about car parking, there is plenty of free space near the house to drop your car. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Owners: George and his mum met us at the Traditional Seaside Cottage and were surprised with hot home-cooked food (Moussaka). Trust me, after a long flight and driving, tasty homemade food is the best that can happen. We are very grateful for this. It's the best welcome we have ever experienced. George helped us a lot during the trip with advice, a must-visit list, and so on.

Totally equipped, supermarket, some restaurants, beach close to the accomodation

Stefanos has welcomed us to the villa. He was very friendly and explained the house rules which were very reasonable. The pool is big and there was plenty of space for the 7 of us swimming/relaxing in it. It was so good to be able to have a little swim before we headed out to the beach/sightseeing and in the evening when we have returned. All rooms have air-con which is a must in August. There was a washing machine (we had detergent provided) Stefanos was tending to the pool and garden always being respectful of our privacy. We had a cleaning service in the middle of our stay which was a really nice touch and made our stay feeling even more luxurious - like in the hotel we had our bedding and all towels changed.

Nice place. We had problem with a fridge, the host was so kind and changed it immediately.

The property is newly built & modern in design & layout. Plenty of space for most travelling families. It’s well lit externally, making it easy to find for the first time. The bathroom facilities are perfectly thought out with me being a tall man, the height of the shower head was just what I need

Such an amazing property. Super clean and well-equipped house. The host left us some fresh homemade olive oil, fruits, and breakfast food. They also provided fresh robes and hotel slippers. The house has a lot of table games. Super happy with our stay in this house and highly recommend it.

Small, but well organized apartment. Very clean, provided of everything, included a deluxe washing machine. Very nice welcome, with fresh beverage and fruit. There is also the private parking and a little garden
