Everything was wonderful, the property, the hosts, the grounds, the added little details, milk on arrival, dressing gowns, slippers. The place was pristine ! Yes the place is a little drive away from shops etc, but, this is just what I wanted. It was so peaceful & relaxing. I would highly recommend xx

The lodge location was perfect, pub 5 minutes walk and tourist attractions and the coast a short drive away. The Lodge itself was so clean, comfortable and quiet with its own outdoor space and stunning sunset view from upstairs.

Warm and cosy on arrival. Felt like we'd arrived at someone's home. Well equipped and furnished. Had everything we needed as a party of four. Maybe more crockery recommended if a larger group.
Loved the location right next to the castle watermill gardens & cafe. We were there to hike for a few days & so many great walks from the doorstep.

Sue was a lovely host and she and her husband were very welcoming. The B & B has a lot of character and is charming, set in beautiful countryside and with a beautiful garden plus an outdoor swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious, our room and facilities were very clean and comfortable.
