We have stayed at Tigh Murdag several times now, and we just love it. It's a beautiful, home from home, comfortable and cosy bungalow. It's central to everything we like to do on the island, and when we come back after a day's sight seeing and touring around, you can kick off your shoes and relax ready for tye next day! Very well appointed. Really spacious, bright and airy. Two bathrooms with one room en suite was fantastic. A very easy 5 minute drive just outside Stornoway meant it was really quiet. Highly recommend.

Quite area, easy access to different places, nice back garden for dogs, everything you could need, shops close on a Sunday, we arrived Saturday night, isobel gave us milk, butter and bread to get us started, and a nice bottle of wine and fresh flowers,

These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
We liked it all. It was warm and cosy and clean and comfortable. The beds were lovely as was the linen. The kitchen was excellent. The host left some nice food and drinks for guests.
It was all nicely renovated and very clean.
We could park very close to the back door which was convenient.
