Hosts Lynne and John were helpful when I messed up the booking. Everything was exactly as described plus a wonderful surprise of cake, bread, milk and lots of extras like butter, jam and all the small things that make the stay comfortable.
Beds were comfortable and seeing the sheep outside the window every day was worth getting up for.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
It's the second time I have gone to these chalets. This time for Up Helly Aa!
They are in such a peaceful location, from which you can see the sea. It's just a 15min walk from the town where there are some grocery stores and a coffee shop.
They are fully equipped, they are very clean and comfortable.
We never met the owner, but she's got a very creative garden and an arts and crafts store.
The location and view from windows were great. Easy walk down shortcut to scalloway. Central location for sightseeing north or south. Can catch bus at bottom of the hill. Chalet was very clean.
