Cosy and compact. The owner has managed to fit into a small space everything you need in a way that doesn’t feel squashed in. Thoughtfully done.

My room was extremely comfortable and spacious. The drinks and snack were more then adequate, and the room and bathroom very clean. I personally, would have preferred a walk-in shower, as it is much safer. I slipped, and only noticed the bath mat afterwards, as it was rolled up on the bath corner, and blended into the background ( same colour ) Anyway, all good, and just a personal preference.
My 1 night stay was really a great experience, and I would highly recommend it...especially it being quite central.
This little gem excels what it offers. It's self catering accommodation on a budget. The hosts are amazing, rooms spacious and very clean. Beds are super comfortable. Free parking. Fantastic location for Retford/Leverton.
Very impressed. Tanamara is a Super comfortable and very clean guest house. Chris was very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. A perfect base to explore and enjoy the many cycling routes the area has to offer
Keith was incredibly helpful and responsive! He made sure I had the app and that I understood the instructions and access codes. The rooms are quite central with easy access to most main shops in the area.
Our room was rather small but very clean; there were clean towels and some small toiletries.
The hotel was quiet and well run and placed in excellent surroundings: the fine gardens. The booking was very smooth and the service friendly and efficient. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in attractive dining rooms. The room was very clean and comfortable and well suited to our needs: a break in travel to the north of England. The gardens were refreshing to explore after a long drive. We did not know Retford but were glad look round and to understand its history.
